The Insta-Spool Exhaust Manifolds greatly reduce spool time, lower exhaust gas temperatures, slow the exhaust gas temperatures climb rate, and help the engine make more power. On the Insta-Spool Shorty Header I worked hard to clean up the exhaust flow from all of the cylinders as the flow and harmonics created make their way from the exhaust valve to the turbine wheel entry. By segregating the exhaust from each cylinder it helps the exhaust flow to stay smoother and maintain it's velocity and heat energy. With more available energy for the turbine to use and a harder hit from the exhaust itself because of the higher velocity and harmonics timing the turbocharger spools up much faster. The design of the Manifold keeps exhaust flow from wanting to flow back up the other runners and impeding the other cylinders volumetric efficiency and creating high pressure zones in front of the exhaust valves making the cylinder have to do more work when its exhaust valve opens. By working towards designing & building a manifold that addresses the flow problems associated with the standard log manifold design I have been able to create a log manifold that runs more like a shorty header to make the engine overall a more efficient system.
the manifolds are hand made start to finish using half inch steel flanges and thick walled Schedule 40 pipe & elbows. They can be made out of mild steel or Stainless steel with options for external waste gates.

The Insta-Spool Ram Horn Header is designed with pure performance in mind. Complete exhaust separation until the turbine inlet and better timed exhaust harmonics makes spooling turbos a night and day difference. Exhaust temperatures at all rpm's are lower, overall exhaust temperatures are lower, it takes no effort at all to spool a charger that before was not building boost until 1800-2100 rpm's. the two variations are the 1.25" ID runners and the 1.5" ID runners. The smaller inside diameter runner header is designed for engines that are building power on the lower end up to 5000 rpm's such as in drag racing, tow rigs, and weekend toys. The 1.5" inside diameter runners are sized for engines that are racing applications only, the larger runner size will flow better on the top end and make more power at the cost of slower charger spool time when compared to the 1.25" header. This header is designed for motors looking to make power from 4000 rpm's and up. I can make the header from mild steel or stainless steel and I use half inch flanges and thick walled schedule 40 pipe & elbows.
