When doing larger single turbochargers or installing/ fabricating compound turbo chargers the factory shock tower shock mount can often be in the way. A common thing to do is to shorten the tower or use tower delete plates to make room and allow easier installation and fabrication of the turbocharger piping. These delete plates are laser cut from .1875"-3/16" mild steel and have a slightly over-sized center hole to accommodate the different size bushings and shocks(stock and aftermarket, that are on the market currently. Plates ship out raw (unpainted/ coated).
