I am not a big fan of the factory breather valve covers that can be ordered for these trucks, they are not as aesthetically pleasing and are very expensive. So i created these valve covers. I also do not care for the pop in style breathers as there is no baffle and the inside of the cummins valve cover is not a optimum seating surface for the seal. I make the new covers from a OEM valve cover, the tube extension allows me to baffle the breather so oil does not soak the filter and leak out onto the engine. I use S&B cleanable re-usable breather filters that will last the lifetime of the truck as long as they are maintained. The factory breather on the tappet cover can become gunked up over time as well and cause crank case ventilation problems. It is very important to have adequate crank case venting on turbo motors. when oil drain back becomes restricted do to to much crank case pressure parts will fail prematurely, gaskets will leak, and the motors life will be drastically shortened if not addressed.
if you want a AN fitting welded on instead for doing a catch can setup on racing applications please send me a email/message and we can go over exactly what you are wanting.
All covers come painted gloss black unless specified otherwise in the notes. Painted and unpainted costs the same amount.
There is a core return of your valve cover or covers after you receive the new cover.
